OVERVIEW
The BGauss OoWah electric scooter is available in India as a lightweight, urban commuter scooter launched in October 2025. It is well-rounded, affordable electric scooter focused on safety, convenience, and performance for city riders.
KEY FEATURES
The BGauss OoWah electric scooter is powered by a PMSM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) hub motor with a continuous rated power of 1.5 kW and a peak power output of 2.4 kW. It is air-cooled and comes with an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance.
The motor provides smooth acceleration from 0 to 40 km/h in about 8 seconds, with two riding modes: Eco (up to 45 km/h) and Sport (up to 60 km/h). This motor configuration offers a good balance of performance for urban commuting, ensuring efficient energy use and responsive power delivery.
The BGauss OoWah electric scooter offers a top speed of 60 km/h and a range of approximately 105 km on a full charge for base variant of Ex while it ranges approximately 145 km on full charge for top variant of Max.
BGauss Oowah is powered by a 2.3 kWh removable lithium-ion battery and takes about 5.15 hours to charge fully with a 500W charger. The fast charging reduces this to around 2.1 hours with a 1350W charger.
The connectivity features of the BGauss OoWah electric scooter includes CAN-enabled digital console that provides real-time updates such as Distance-to-Empty, battery status, speedometer, tripmeter, and odometer. It has USB charging port to charge mobile devices and comes with central locking system for security.
The BGauss OoWah electric scooter is available in two main variants in India – Ex (appx 105 km per charge) and Max (appx 145 km per charge).
The BGauss OoWah electric scooter is available in three color options in India: Sage Green, Laguna Blue and Cloud White.
PRICE
The BGauss OoWah electric scooter is priced at ₹76,991 for base variant of BGauss Oowah Ex. The prices of its higher variant BGauss Oowah Max are yet to be announced officially.
