At the heart of the BGauss Max C12 3.0 lies a powerful 2.5 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) paired with a 2.7 kWh removable lithium-ion battery. The scooter delivers an impressive ARAI-certified range of approximately 123 km on a single charge, making it suitable for daily commutes and longer city rides. Charging the battery fully takes around 6 to 6.3 hours, with fast charging options that bring it from zero to 80% in about 4.5 to 5 hours. The scooter’s light kerb weight of 116 kg combined with a top speed of 60 km/h ensures balanced performance and maneuverability in urban traffic conditions.
Designed with convenience and connectivity in mind, the Max C12 3.0 sports a 5-inch digital TFT display that offers digital speedometer, odometer, trip meter, and navigation assistance directly on the screen. It supports mobile app connectivity via Bluetooth, offering features such as call and SMS alerts, remote diagnostics, charge and ride statistics, and even SOS alerts for rider safety. Riders can tailor their experience with two distinct riding modes: Eco mode for energy-efficient cruising at up to 45 km/h, and Sport mode for reaching up to 60 km/h.
The scooter is rich in safety and utility features, including regenerative braking, a combi brake system, side-stand motor cut-off, and an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance, allowing it to wade through up to 300 mm of water, ideal for monsoon conditions. Additionally, it has a side stand sensor that prevents accidental riding with the stand down, and a pre-ride self-diagnosis to ensure fault-free starts, underlining BGauss’s focus on ride safety.
Comfort is also well considered, with ergonomic seating for a single rider and a passenger footrest, combined with 23 liters of under-seat storage for daily essentials.
